El Deià International Music Festival organizes in Ibiza the sixth edition of its already traditional extraordinary concert in aid of APNEEF, the Association of People with Special Needs of Eivissa and Formentera.
The recital take by title 'Folklore and film music' and features the performance of the group Spa Duet, a luxury tandem formed by Alfredo Oyaguez, renowned pianist and artistic director of the festival, and Rodrigo Vila, renowned saxophonist.
Rodrigo Vila He is a leading figure in musical interpretation who received the Medals of Honour for saxophone and contemporary chamber music from Bordeaux. He has participated in various festivals and has collaborated with prestigious groups such as the Orchestre National
Bordeaux-Aquitaine, the National Orchestra of Spain and the Madrid Symphony, among others, and has been a saxophone teacher at the Conservatory of Music and Dance of the Balearic Islands.
For its part, Alfredo Oyaguez He has been artistic director of the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony Orchestra (USA), senior piano professor at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain, the New Britain Symphony (USA), the Mikkeli Chamber Orchestra (Finland) and the Balearic Symphony Orchestra, among others, performing on countless stages around the world.
The concert lasts approximately ½ hours 1, where we will be able to enjoy a repertoire full of works by great masters such as W. Kwan, Manuel de Falla, G. Gershwin, A.Piazzolla, E. Morricone, N. Piovani or LE Bacalov.
The appointment is Friday 7 of March of 2025 at 19 pm in the Palace of Congresses of Ibiza, in Santa Eulalia. In addition, the concert is also held in Formentera el Saturday 22 of March of 2025 at 19:00 p.m. in the Culture Room.
The Tickets they cost 20 Euros and all proceeds will go to APNEEF.
