The Daily Club of Ibiza hosts the 2nd Journey Towards Sustainability in Ibiza on Wednesday 27 of February 2019, with conferences, debates and colloquia
El Daily Club Ibiza welcomes the celebration of II Journey Towards Sustainability in Ibiza el Wednesday 27 of February of 2019 from the 17 hours. The appointment is organized by the Consell de Ibiza and the Diario de Ibiza.
It is an event designed to analyze the current model of the island and see how it can be improved. Therefore, it will have interesting conferences, round tables and colloquia on the subject by various professional speakers. It is also about sharing experiences and sharing the way to improve the environmental situation of Ibiza.
Among the speakers will be the general director of Environmental Education, Environmental Quality and Residues of the Balearic Government Sebastià Sansó i Jaume, the island director of Tourism Vicente Torres, Marcos Tur, who will talk about permaculture, and Oscar Caro from the Consell de Ibiza, who will present the new Eivissa Sostenible program.
They will also be present Carlos Bravo from the Aliança Mar Blava, talking about the need to create an emission control area in the Mediterranean to reduce air pollution produced by ships, and Juan Calvo of the Alliance for Water, which will present a proposal for a pact with 20 measures to improve the current water situation in Ibiza.
This interesting day is with free admission.
