If you fancy doing one of those things that will make you fall in love with the island again, take note of this activity from Friends of the Earth, designed for nature lovers and anyone curious about local biodiversity.
In this practical-theoretical workshop in which one learns to build nest boxes for birds and bats while the different species that inhabit Ses BeamsThe idea doesn't stop at "we'll do the workshop today and that's it": the nest boxes that are built will later be installed in Ses Feixes des Prat de ses Monges, contributing directly to the environmental recovery.
The activity is guided by Jordi Serapio, and it takes place in a perfect location to understand firsthand why Ses Feixes is such a valuable space within Ibiza.
The workshop will explain which species can benefit from nest boxes, how to design and properly install them, and why these shelters can be key to maintaining the ecosystem's balance. And yes, that includes those silent allies: bats.
The appointment is Saturday 24 of January of 2026, 09 to 30h.
It is an activity Free for members and that only costs 5 € for non-members.
To sign up, simply fill out the registration form which we have attached. The organization will contact you to confirm and send you the meeting point.
Places are limited to a maximum of 15 participants with a nest box, although families can also attend with prior registration (for practical reasons). Places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and if the limit is reached, a waiting list will be created.
