Surely you know and have heard more than once, even online, the TED talks. Inspiring presentations by great thinkers and entrepreneurs of the most diverse areas that, for some years, have also been celebrated on our island with the format TEDx Ibiza.
This year's event is celebrated on Saturday 14 of March of 2026 at the Palace of Congresses.
Under the slogan "Thinking CultureThe quote invites us to reflect on how the technology It transforms the way we create, communicate, and understand culture, and why. It is more necessary today than ever before.
Following the official TEDx format, which consists of short, powerful and carefully selected talksThe event brings together speakers from diverse fields to share experiences, research, and projects that connect innovation, creativity, and society. In previous editions, TEDx Ibiza has solidified its reputation as an essential event on the island for professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, and lovers of transformative ideas. This year, the focus is on that. Urgent conversation between technology and popular culture, at a time when artificial intelligence, hyperconnectivity and new digital formats are redefining the present.
During the day, figures from different fields will take to the stage, such as the environmental activist Rafael Tur, reflecting on water as a shared cultural resource; Sophia Shnapp, advocate of the link between music and sustainability; Joshua Coombes, author and founder of "Do Something for Nothing", exploring kindness as a cultural movement; the actress, director and founder of MeP Lab Maggie civantos; the creative director and cultural curator Harris Elliott; the educator and translator of Ibizan folklore Dan Cohen, who will analyze traditional narratives as living tools; the technologist and musician Benji Rogerswho will speak about creativity and technology; and the storyteller and activist Isobel Bruce, whose talk will address creative communication on climate and human rights.
The talks are given in English and Spanish.
In addition to the talks, there will also be live cultural performances between the presentations, featuring talents such as Toni Costa, Héctor Koa and Isadora Mulvey, which contribute to the soundscape and artistic atmosphere of the event, making the day a blend of reflection and sensory experience.
