Chinois Ibiza marks a new milestone in its programming with the arrival of Major League DJz, who sign their first residency in Ibiza with “Echoes of Tomorrow”, one of the strongest and most distinctive bets of this 2026 season.
Formed by the South African twins Bandile and Banele MbereMajor League DJz have established themselves as one of the most influential names in the afro house scene globally. Their sound, deeply rooted in African culture but open to international electronic music, has led them to perform on the world's major circuits and collaborate with key artists of the movement, positioning them as ambassadors of a new musical wave that connects continents.
Having previously left their mark on the track ChinoisThe duo returns with a residency that is conceived as a immersive experience where they converge Afro house, deep rhythms and organic grooves, with a sound narrative that emphasizes the tribal energy and collective connection on the track.
Every Friday, the club hosts a format that combines extended sets from Major League DJz with international guests, setting up a schedule designed to evolve throughout the season.
The proposal brings together both established figures and new talents inside of the global circuit of afro house and related sounds, with names like Themba, Andrea Oliva, AMÉMÉ, Alan Dixon, Mahmut Orhan, Antdot, Cameron Jack, Fiona Kraft, Kaz James, Kilimanjaro, Kitty Amor and many more.
One of the most iconic elements of the residence is the “Mask of Africa“,” a visual and conceptual symbol of the project, representing the duo’s cultural identity and their mission to bring African music to the forefront of the global electronic music scene. This imagery perfectly complements the meticulous aesthetic and international vocation of Chinois.
Located in the Ibiza Gran Hotel, right in the heart of Marina Botafoch, Chinois It has established itself as one of the island's musical temples, with a focus on music, diversity, and a a closer and more authentic clubbing experience, far removed from the mass format.
Echoes of Tomorrow is celebrated every Friday from the Opening Party May 29th to Closing Party on October 9, 2026, with a total of 21 Dates throughout the season.
