Las Dalias IbizaThe iconic San Carlos hippie market is organizing its traditional market every year. Family Day, a special event that brings together its artisans, vendors, staff and collaborators to thank for another great summer season.
This year Family Day is celebrated on Thursday 6 November 2025 from the 13:30h in Las Dalias.
A day full of emotion and tradition that begins with the «Payment to the Earth", an ancestral ceremony led by Maria Valdivia.
Nearly 400 people—including workers, artists, and friends of Las Dalias—will offer flowers, seeds, wine, herbs, coffee, or honey to help raise funds. tribute to Pachamama and give thanks for the fruits of the season.
After the ritual, participants will be able to enjoy a delicious family barbecue and a tribute to Yaron Marko, musician, craftsman and historical figure of Las Dalias.
Yaron Marko, an Israeli craftsman, musician, and collector, arrived in Ibiza in the 1970s, drawn by its free and creative spirit. He dedicated his life to exploring sound as an art form, creating unique instruments inspired by world cultures. His iconic stall at the Las Dalias market became a meeting place and a hub for learning, leaving a legacy that still resonates as a symbol of authenticity and cultural connection through sound.
After lunch there will be the Awarding of prizes for the best positions of the year, chosen by the public vote that visited Las Dalias this past summer.
The day will culminate with the fun “battle of neighborhoods”, a competition in which the different streets of the market will come to life to represent iconic characters who have brought their energy and music to the market and which will be a festive and unique closing.
