It's cuttlefish time, and, after success of last year's call, the Fishermen's Guilds of the island, grouped under the commercial brand “Peix Nostrum” organize the second edition of the Gastronomic Festival of the Sepia.
The appointment is in the picturesque village of San Juan, north of the island, the Saturday 23 of March of 2019 for the whole day from the 11: 30 hours.
Just like last year, there will be a lot of activities and proposals. Throughout the day there will be exhibitions of fishing gear, crafts and sailing and fishing cycles.
In addition, there will be Workshops for children and a lot of places where you can try various tapas and preparations based on cuttlefish of Ibiza. And to the 14 hours You can also enjoy a popular sepia rice and fried.
The festival will be animated by a great variety of musical performances. At 13 hours acts Sa Colla de Labritja to inaugurate the festival. You can also see how the sepia car and there will be a "Brulada de corn", that is to say, that a conch shell will sound, a tradition typical of the island that served to announce, for example, the arrival of fresh fish.
In addition, groups will perform during the festival Pin Up, Soul Doctor and Macumbia.
