Ibiza Fashion Festival, the pioneering sustainable fashion festival organized by fashion stylist Karen Windle, returns to the island this 2025 under the slogan «Make an impression, not an imprint«.
The 12th edition of the competition is held on 12 June 2025 Thursday opening a new location in a unique location: the Ibiza Botanical Biotechnology, a center for the natural conservation of the Pitiusan flora and scientific dissemination.
The festival, which has been growing over the years, seeks to raise awareness about a socially and environmentally responsible fashion consumption, showing garments from ethical fashion brands committed to eliminating single-use plastics, using biodegradable, recycled and organic materials, collaborating with local suppliers and/or who work with ethical codes or donating part of their profits to sustainable causes.
“Our mission is to try to reverse the trend of fast fashion consumption, betting on timeless garments that allow them to extend their useful life,” explains the organizer, Karen Windle.
The new location will provide a stunning setting, thanks to the innovative technology of Bioo Lumina, with which you will be surrounded by live and bioluminescent plants, with a magical and ethereal atmosphere like you've never seen before in a parade. In addition, the biological activators from Bioo allow generate music just by touching the plants, creating a light and sound experience never seen before.
The local and international brands of swimwear, jewelry and accessories that will present their cruise collections are FrancesKa, Noma Botanic, Smokin' Suits Ibiza, Greta, Livia Bentacort, Calvacante, Watches of Ibiza, Lydia's Style and Mira Ibiza, among others.
This year Ibiza Fashion Festival also inaugurates a theoretical section during the morning, with a cycle of interesting workshops: "How to be more sustainable"", aimed at emerging brands, and "How to Make Your Own Organic Botanical Body Oil«.
In addition, a panel is also planned for the morning, with the participation of Sira Naidu (Greenpeace), Diane Morales (Ibiza Botanical Biotechnology), Sascha Camilli (PETA), Jo-Anne Godden (Ruby Moon) and Karen Windle (founder of the Ibiza Fashion Festival).
