How to get around from the airport in Ibiza

Have you landed at the airport and do not know how to get to Ibiza, San Antonio, San Jose, Santa Eulalia or San Juan? Here you have means of transport, schedules and rates

Bravo! You've arrived in Ibiza! Or rather to the airport, like most of those who come to the island. Now it's time to know how you can get closer to the hostel, hotel, house or directly to the municipality where you are going to stay.

There are several options and here we list them all so you can choose the one that best suits your time or pocket.

  • BY BUS:

The stop is leaving the arrivals area on the right, let's say at the beginning of the airport.

-A Ibiza: You must take the 10 line. For in Sant Jordi, in different points of the city of Ibiza and also in the port.

From 1 from April to 31 from October, each 20 minutes leaves. The first to the 6.20 hours and the last to the 24.20. From the 1 from November to the 31 from March, it works every half hour from 7.20 in the morning to 23.50 hours.

It will cost you 3,50 euros.

-A San Antonio and San José: 9 line. It only operates from June 1 to September's 30.

The bus stops in the center of San José, in the tourist areas of Port des Torrent and Cala de Bou, near several hotels (maybe you're lucky and one is yours!) And, finally, at San Antonio station . It leaves every day from 7 in the morning to 1.30 hours, every 30 minutes.

-Santa Eulalia, is Canar or Cala Nova: 24 line. It only works from May 1 to October 31. It leaves every hour from the airport, from 8 in the morning to 24 at night. On Wednesdays it doesn't stop at s'Argamassa, Punta Arabí or Cala Martina.

-Playa d'en Bossa: You will have to take the bus until Ibiza (L10). Get off at the last stop (Avenida Isidoro Macabich) and continue straight onto the next street. In front of the Gran Vía bar you will see the Playa d'en Bossa stop, the 14 line. From May 1 to October 29, it runs every day from 7 am to 23.30 pm, every 15 minutes. From October 31 to April 30, the hours are as follows: Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 22.30:7 p.m. every half hour. Saturdays from 14.30 a.m. to 30:15 p.m. every 22 minutes and from 9 p.m. to 13 p.m. every hour. On Sundays it works every hour from 16 a.m. to 20 p.m. and from XNUMX p.m. to XNUMX p.m.

-San Juan and Portinatx: In this case you will have to use the 10 line, from the airport to Ibiza. Get off at the last stop (Avenida Isidoro Macabich) and go straight until you get to Parque de la Paz. There you will see a bus stop, from which the 20A line, what you should take From 1 from May to 31 from October, it leaves from Monday to Saturday at 10.15, 12.40, 17.45 and 19.45. On Sundays and holidays it covers the route to the 10.45, the 13.30 and the 19.45 hours.

How-to-get-to-Ibiza

  • IN TAXI:

The stop is just outside the airport, on the same sidewalk. If you come in summer it is likely that the queue to catch a taxi is endless. Patience!

-From the airport to the center of Ibiza: There are about 6 kilometers. By day it will cost you some 15 euros and at night some 17.

-From the airport to San Antonio: The municipality is at 18 kilometers from the airport and the taxi ride will cost you 30 euros per day and 35 per night. If you go to the bay area, you usually get five euros cheaper.

-To Playa d'en Bossa: It is about 5 kilometers. The taxi will charge you 11 euros per day and 13 per night, approximately.

-A Santa Eulalia: 23 kilometers, more or less. The price? By day 22 euros and by night 26, more or less.

-To San José: There are about 10 kilometers and the cost of the trip is 20 euros per day and 24 euros per night approximately.

-From the aerodrome to San Juan: You will have to travel about 30 kilometers. If you go to the San Miguel area, you will be asked for 35 euros in the morning and one 40 in the evening.

Keep in mind that the rates are indicative and may vary.
