El Exhibition Center of Ibiza is the stage of Aurum, an orchestral show that promises to offer a unique musical experience on the island and that aims to bring the symphonic music to audiences of all ages, especially young people.
Aurum is an initiative carried out by the Chamber Orchestra, made of 30 young professional musicians under the direction of Bartomeu Tur. According to Tur's statements, the project seeks to offer a innovative experience that combines the classical music with contemporary elements, creating a enveloping atmosphere with the magical candlelight.
The concert is held on Friday 7 of March of 2025 at 21 hours.
The repertoire will include well-known songs from movie and TV soundtracks such as “Gladiator,” “Game of Thrones,” “The Lion King,” “La La Land,” “Titanic,” “Aladdin,” “Pocahontas,” “The Hunger Games,” and many more.
But also, on the morning of March 7th a celebration will take place pedagogical session Aimed at students from local high schools, it will allow almost 600 students from seven educational centres to interact directly with the orchestra and choir and learn about the work of professional musicians and foster their interest in classical music.
