Ibiza's popular music is being reinterpreted this winter from an unexpected perspective. The duo Bis@bis, Consisting of violin and piano, presents in the auditorium of Can Ventosa the concert Pinzellades Eivissenques, a proposal that takes melodies deeply rooted in local tradition and transforms them through its own delicate and contemporary arrangements.
The program starts from glossed songs and popular pieces that have traditionally been heard performed with flute or xeremiaBut here they appear in a new light: unusual versions, full of nuances, that preserve the essence of the Ibizan repertoire while exploring new sound textures.
