La Sobrasada Fair or Fira de sa Sobrassada It is a gastronomic, recreational and cultural event organized by the San José City Council, in collaboration with the Consell de Ibiza and the Sabors Eivissa brand, which celebrates the island's gastronomic tradition and its culinary richness.
An event you can't miss during this slaughtering season, and with which to pay homage to this delicacy which, in addition to accompanying snacks and toast, is one of the outstanding ingredients in Ibizan gastronomy, in dishes such as "sofrit pagès" or "els ossos amb col".
The fair celebrates its third edition again over two different days: el December 20 Saturday 2025 en San Jose and the 27 2025 December en Sant Jordi. In both cases the schedule is 11 am to 00 amAttention, due to the poor weather forecast, the day's schedule has been changed at the last minute. San Jose has moved to Saturday 3 of January of 2026. The Sant Jordi one remains unchanged.
During both days there will be mixed activities and for all tastes, including musical performances or sobrasada workshop to Carn & Coop, with which you will learn all the secrets to making your own sobrasada at home.
Both Saturdays there is also a demonstration of Dance party, on January 3, 2026 with the Sant Josep Folk Group and on December 27th with the Sant Jordi Folk Group.
They are also planned showcooking with the chef Marga Orell, from s'Ametller, so you can discover how many recipes and ingredients you can combine sobrasada with.
During the fair you can take wines and tapas in the enabled booths and there will be a market where you can buy local and artisanal products.
During the day of Saturday 3 of January 2026 at 14 pm is a Popular fried dish of pork, squid and sobrasada for lunch. Also, starting at 20: 00 hours, It is celebrated in the San José tent on XVII Sobrassada Rock, a musical competition organized by Casa Majora S. XXI in which you can enjoy the performances of La Calle y Lobos (tribute group to Leiva and Pereza).
El Saturday 27 In addition to showcooking, sobrasada making with Carn & Coop, traditional folk dancing and a craft market are planned, some children's workshops and to the 13 pm, elaboration of sobrasada tapas in the market stalls.
