The seventh edition of Rock Island Festival, one of the most powerful spring musical events on the island and which is held on Saturday 25 of April of 2026 from the 16 hours.
A whole party of american style rock which is organized by the San José City Council and the Cultural Association Great River Road to enjoy good music in the pleasant open-air venue facing the sea of Caló de s'Oli.
Rock Island Festival is one of those great plans that have already become a spring ritual in San José, always with a tremendous atmosphere, food trucks with delicious things to eat and, as in every edition, a very cool poster.
The big draw this year is the arrival of the British. Wille and The BanditsA band with a solid track record in European blues rock, known for their powerful live performances and for having played on prestigious stages such as Glastonbury and Rockpalast. Their sound, with echoes of the Allman Brothers and Tedeschi Trucks Band, combines virtuosity and emotion, something that has earned them recognition from figures like Joe Bonamassa and Deep Purple.
The poster completes it The Kleejoss BandA band from Zaragoza with years of experience on the road and a style they themselves define as "windy city rock and roll." With several albums under their belt and a special connection to the island, especially to Can Jordi, they arrive at a sweet moment after celebrating their tenth anniversary.
Local representation is handled by Reflection, a band that revives the spirit of 70s folk rock with a repertoire that focuses on less obvious gems from artists such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young or Lou Reed, performed by musicians with extensive experience in the Ibiza scene.
As a prelude, the festival kicks off at 13:00h with a pre-concert at Can Jordi Blues Station starring Cotton Cactus, a local band that moves between country, bluegrass and blues, made up of regular names from the island's music scene.
And between concert and concert, as always, Betterman Dj warming up the track, good vibes in the air and a cold beer.
The festival is free.
