After the break due to the pandemic for the last two years, the second edition of Sant Jordi Va de Frita, frita de matanzas “interstellar” contest.
A plan that combines fun, gastronomy, culture and music all in one and that will fill the town of Sant Jordi el Saturday 9 April 2022 from the 11 hours around the The church square.
Plus, it's also a date. solidarity, since all the proceeds from this year's edition will go to the Pitiusa Association to Help Those Affected by Cancer (APAAC).
You can enter this contest up to 30 necklaces, paying a donation of 50 euros with which they will have a pack with Tshirts of Sant Jordi Va de Rrita, aprons a wine bottle from Ibiza, another from coffee cove, country bread, cheese and various useful items for the event, such as forks, cleaning products... All the products are provided by local companies that collaborate in this authentic party.
But in addition to the creations of the participants in the contest, there will be a popular frita for 600 people. The rations will cost 15 Euros and will include bread, drink and dessert, in addition to the fried dish. All proceeds go to the APAAC.
And in addition to enjoying this traditional dish of the island and the good atmosphere, during the day there will be musical performances and concerts. Specifically, those of the Municipal band of San José, the Folkloric Group of Sant Jordi, Ibizan groups Dr Soul and Scoundrels of Guateque and several Djs.
There will also be raffles for the benefit of the association ADHDEF and PKU.
