One of the highlights of the Festivals of Sant Jordi, the lively gastronomic day Sant Jordi Va de Frita, frita de matanzas “interstellar” contest.
Fun, gastronomy, culture and music shake hands in the town of Sant Jordi on Saturday 12 April 2025 from the 11 pm around the The church square.
Like other years, you can sign up for the contest up to 30 necklaces, paying a donation of 50 euros with which they will have a pack with Tshirts of Sant Jordi Va de Frita, apronsa whirlpool bath, wine bottle from Ibiza, another from coffee cove, country bread, cheese and various useful items for the event, such as forks, cleaning products... All the products are provided by local companies that collaborate in this great party.
In addition to the elaborations that participate in the contest, there will be a popular frita for 600 people, whose rations will cost 15 Euros and will include bread, drink and dessert, in addition to the fried dish. All proceeds will go to support the work of Ibiza IN.
But along with the gastronomic and fundamental part of the event, there will also be various musical performances throughout the day.
