The Caló de s'Oli auditorium in San José hosts the second edition of the Soul Food Festival, an event framed within the Festival program of Cala de Bou and Port des Torrent, which combines the southern usa cuisine with music that honors estate deeper than blues and rock.
The event is organized by the San José City Council and the Great River Road Cultural Association, to publicize the intense bond between cuisine and music culture.
The appointment is celebrated this year taking advantage of the holiday of the 12 October 2022 Wednesday from the 12 hours.
Soul Food Fest 2022 kicks off at 12 hours with the powerful rock and soul of Betterman Dj. At 13:XNUMX p.m. it's the turn of rock and R&B Kamikaze, mythical band from ses Païsses, which reunites for this occasion 23 years after its dissolution. About the 16 hours, you can enjoy a performance by the great American bluesman greg izor, accompanied by a great band formed by the Uruguayan guitarist Martin Burguez, the Madrid guitarist Cesar Crespo, the Argentine bassist Christian Morana and the Ibizan drummer David Barona.
In addition, you Taste Cajun Cuisine, because there will be tasting rice Jambalaya, typical of Louisiana cuisine, at popular prices. There will also be other dishes in the gastronomic area from 13:XNUMX p.m. and, of course, a drinks bar.
Throughout the day there will also be a vinyl market, organized in collaboration with the Retro Association.
