The first edition of the Eivissa Jove Music Festival, organized by Ibiza City Council, which will fill this first half of 2024 with music with up to 11 performancesIncluding four educational concerts designed for an audience between 0 and 18 years.
In addition, there will be musical experimentation workshops percussion, gospel, batucada, DJ, jazz, etc., with professionals from these disciplines. To participate it is not necessary to be a music student, but simply to be interested, although the specific details of the workshops have not yet been published.
For now, the I Eivissa Jove Music Festival opens with “L'Òpera Mola“, an opera concert written by Elvira Ramon and Isabel Albaladejo, in which operatic arias and duets by composers such as Donizetti, Rossini, Puccini, Bellini or Mozart.
The artists also participate in the concert Irantzu Bartolomé, Carles Tur and Javier Chivite.
In addition to the performance itself, the particularity is that the public will know that part that is not normally seen in a performance, accompanied with explanations and all series of complicities, to bring opera closer to young people, since the initiative is especially designed for young people between 8 and 18 years.
In “L'òpera mola” the singers and the pianist arrive at the theater for the rehearsal of the concert that will be held later, what they do not know is that the audience is already inside the theater and, for some strange reason, only one of the singers realize this.
The concert is the Sunday 28 2024 January at 18 hours in the auditorium of Can Ventosa Cultural Center.
