After its great success over the last two years, the Young Music Festival Celebrating its third edition, it confirms itself as one of the most beautiful and necessary cultural offerings of the season: a project for children and young people from 0 to 18 years old Discover music through experience, play, movement, voice, and rhythm. no prior knowledge required.
Behind this festival is the Ibiza Town Council, which promotes this initiative as a city commitment to music education from childhood. The artistic and pedagogical coordination is handled by the pianist and teacher. Elvira Ramon, responsible for the project since its first edition in 2024, with the aim of bringing music closer to the youngest children in a way adapted to each stage.
The proposal combines two formats: on the one hand, Free music workshops with prior registration and on the other Educational concerts at Can Ventosa, with a symbolic price of 5 Euros to control capacity.
The beauty of the festival is that it's not just about "going to listen": people come here to sing, move, experiment, create, play with sounds and participateAnd that makes it a perfect plan for families who want to introduce their little ones to music naturally, as well as offering workshops for older ages (up to 18 years) focused on body percussion, choral singing or rhythms.
The program kicks off with a bang, featuring early childhood activities and continues for weeks with workshops and concerts that combine fantasy, storytelling, instruments, and active learning. Throughout this edition, professionals with extensive experience in the fields of music and education will participate, including Maite Dueñas, Lucía Herranz, Rocío Osuna, Úrsula Pomar, Elvira Ramon, Andrés Bretel, David Romano, Aniko Pusztai, Isabel Albaladejo, Valentina Pugliese, Pere Prieto, Antoni Marí “Tirurit”, Juan F. Ballesteros, Bartomeu Tur and the vocal quartet Sonora, among others.
The Festival Música Jove is celebrated from Sunday, January 18 to Sunday, March 22, 2026with activities scheduled almost every Sunday. workshops They are held in different rooms of the Municipal Board of Music and educational concerts are celebrated in Can Ventosa.

- The opening comes on Sunday 18 of January 2026 with a double proposal: in the morning, the "Let's sing" workshop for little ones 18 to 36 months, with two sessions in the Sala Petita; and in the afternoon the Educational concert «Les fades dels somnis» (from 3 years old), a family-friendly event that combines music, movement and fantasy in Can Ventosa.

- El February 22 It's a particularly beautiful day because it combines early childhood and a concert: in the morning there is a presentation "Humming" (0 to 3 years), an immersive activity inspired by Edwin Gordon's Music Learning Theory; and in the afternoon, Can Ventosa hosts «The little vesper", concert for ages 6 and up which mixes live music, storytelling and live painting, with free inspiration from The Little Prince.
- El March 8. arrives "Sing" workshopShe sings for ages of 6 to 11 years In the morning, and in the afternoon a great plan for teenagers: «BSO Choir«, choral workshop for 12 to 18 years focused on film soundtracks.
- El March 15. the proposal becomes physical and super fun with «Body percussion«, divided into three age groups, 5 to 7 years, 8 to 11 years and 12 to 18 years, an activity that is very addictive because it turns the body into an instrument.
- And the grand finale arrives on sunday 22 2026 March with the concert didactic "BSOs are cool", for ages 10 and up...to discover how film music builds emotions and gives meaning to what we see on screen. A perfect ending to a festival that is committed to cultivating sensitive and curious audiences from a young age.
