Following its success last year, with the participation of some 800 people, the second edition of the Young Music Festival In Ibiza, a musical training offer designed for the youngest public and coordinated by the Ibizan pianist Elvira Ramon.
This is a cultural proposal designed to bring music closer to younger generations and consists of educational workshops or concerts each Sunday during the first four months of 2025.
The Festival Música Jove is celebrated from January 12 to April 13, 2025 in the classrooms of Municipal Board of Music of Can Ventosa or in the Cultural Space of Can Ventosa.
To participate in the activities It is not necessary to know how to read music or play an instrument, are designed so that young people can discover, learn, share and have fun, while learning in a fun, creative and educational way, the different musical styles, such as pop, jazz, gospel, zarzuela, body percussion, batucada, singing, etc.
Great musicians and artists from Ibiza, Mallorca and Madrid participate, such as Lucia Herranz (soprano), rocio osuna (dance), Carlos Medina (saxophone) Jaume Riera (piano), Gala Perez (fiddle), Irantzu Bartolomé (soprano), Isabel Albaladejo (mezzo-soprano and specialist in musical stimulation) Carlos Tur (tenor), Javier Chivite (baritone), Elvira Ramon (piano), Pere Prieto (saxophone), Antoni Marí 'Tirurit' (painter), Andres Bretel (guitar), David Romano (percussion), Juan Francisco Ballesteros (piano and gospel choir direction), Nadia Acebal (music pedagogue), Silvina Sodano (improvisational actress) or Joan Barbé (musician, producer and composer).
