El Consell de Ibiza, through its Department of Education, Heritage, Culture and Youth, organizes the eighth edition of the Tanit Nits Festival, the musical series that has already become a classic in the summers of Ibiza.
As usual, the festival brings us great artists from all over the world to offer us a cultural offer of the highest quality. This year's cycle will feature performances by Kiko Veneno, Pablo Milanes, Maria Pelae and the duo formed by the Ibizan Angela Cervantes accompanied by the pianist Pepe Rivero.

-Friday 1 of July of 2022: The cycle is inaugurated by a concert by Kiko Venom (Figueres, Girona, 1952), one of the most important artists with the longest career in our country. His latest albums, “Sombrero roto” (2019) and “Hambre” (2021) represent a leap forward, although they maintain the essence of the artist: lyrics that speak brilliantly and truthfully about life on the street and captivating melodies . A unique artist who has managed to incorporate the most diverse musical influences and create authentic anthems.
-Sunday, July 3, 2022: Singer-songwriter performance Maria Pelae (Málaga, 1990), considered one of the most important young voices on the national scene. In her albums “Hipocondría” (2016) and “La folcrónica” (2022) she unfolds a particular mix of flamenco sounds, hip hop and rap, lyrics loaded with humor and social criticism and a refreshing vindication of the LGTBIQ + collective.
-Friday, August 19, 2022: It is the turn of the Ibizan singer Angela Cervantes accompanied by the Cuban pianist Pepe Rivero, with a concert that is part of the successful tour to present their latest album “Olas y arena”, which they are doing throughout Spain. The album is a tribute to Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, poet and screenwriter Sylvia Rexach.
DISCONTINUED! -Saturday, August 27, 2022: The great Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo Milanés (Bayamo, Cuba, 1943), a benchmark for author music of all time, closes this year's festival. Founder of the Nueva Trova Cubana together with Silvio Rodríguez and Noel Nicola, he will offer a concert in an intimate format as part of his “Días de Luz” tour. Pablo Milanés will be accompanied by Miguel Núñez on piano and Caridad R. Varona on cello.
All Nits de Tanit concerts are at 22 hours, like every year in the enclosure outside the UIB in Ibiza, where the building of the old Military Command, in calle del Calvario 1, in Ibiza town.
