El International Music Summit Ibiza (IMS), the great annual congress of electronic music, returns to Ibiza to celebrate its Edition 13 after two years of hiatus caused by the pandemic. This great global meeting of the electronics industry is held from 27 to the 29 of April of 2022 in a luxury location as it is Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort.
For the first time in its history, the IMS congress this year will not have panels but will present a series of ideas, readings, conversations, masterclasses, workshops and sessions starring some of the industry leaders. And of course a lot networking together with great experts and visionary talents.
There will be interviews and performances with artists like BLOND:ISH, Brian Eno, Deadmau5, Duran Duran & Erol Alkan, Jamie Jones, Kerri Chandler, Laurent Garnier, Patrick Topping or Richie Hawtin.
Presentations of new social networks such as Friends With Benefits by shesaid.so, the presentation of Metaverse & Web3 by Pixelynx, where each delegate will be awarded a free NFT, talks with Ole Obermann from TikTok and representatives of YouTube or the presentation of PTDJA, the latest project from Pete Tong and Jamie Jones.
This year's edition pays tribute to Simon Dunmore (Defected Records) to whom he dedicates the traditional Legends Dinner this year, to be held in the idyllic restaurant Maca House Ibiza.
As always, the big brands will be present at the meeting, such as Pioneer DJ, TribeXR, L-Acoustics, Pixelynx, LunaFest, Belair Technology and others, showing the latest in technology. And there will also be activities to deal with topics such as sustainability and the environment, art, the local Ibizan scene or the female presence in the music industry.
And of course, delegates will be able to attend some of the best parties and events of the island, including the iconic IMS Dalt Vila, which this year spans two days, the Saturday 29 with a great session led by Jamie Jones, and also another on 30 Sunday of April 2022 in charge of Defective Records.
