The Island Ibiza goes back to a Level One alert for Covid-19, with measures that, in practice, are very similar to Level 4, because it is conceived as a Level 3 "reinforced", given the alarming increase in the cumulative incidence of cases.
The change, approved by the Balearic Government, comes into effect from Thursday, January 7 and it will be valid until 26 January 2021 Tuesday.
Among the most notable changes, they return to close the interiors of bars, cafes and restaurants, and gambling and betting venues.
Furthermore, the curfew returns to anticipate 22 hours.
Meetings (except cohabitants) are again limited to 6 people maximum, both indoors and outdoors.
Level 2 that the island had until now should have been extended until January 12, 2021. However, the worsening of epidemiological indicators throughout the island of Ibiza has caused a review of the level of health alert.
In just two weeks, the island has doubled the cumulative incidence of cases, which currently stands at 293 per 100.000 inhabitants, and almost tripled its percentage of positivity.
