Jackmaster, the famous Scottish DJ born as Jack Revill, died on the morning of Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Ibiza due to "complications after a accidental head injury", according to what his relatives have reported through social networks.

We appreciate the immense support from friends, colleagues and fans, but request privacy as we deal with the immense grief of this devastating loss. Jack's passion for music and his tireless drive to push creative boundaries through his work on the Numbers label and Glasgow's Rubadub Records, including discovering countless groundbreaking artists, made him a beloved and pioneering figure in the electronic music community, both on and off stage. His talent for blending genres and delivering electrifying DJ sets and productions earned him the respect and admiration of peers and fans around the world. His legacy will continue to inspire and his impact on the world of dance music will remain indelible.”
Born in Glasgow on 11 January 1986, Jackmaster had played all over Europe and the USA this season. His last performance was at Hï Ibiza. After hearing the news, Amnesia Ibiza paid tribute to him during their Closing Party, with a large screen displaying his photo, his date of birth and his date of death.
