The Ibiza playgrounds they are there again open, after almost three months closed. Those of our island were the only ones that remained closed in the whole of the Balearic Islands, until the Balearic Government authorized its reopening on Tuesday, November 24, 2020.
The Balearic government had previously authorized the reopening of the playgrounds in Formentera and Menorca, those in Mallorca could also be opened from Saturday.
On all the islands the parks, which had been closed at the beginning of the school year to reduce contact between children, they open from 7 to 21 hours and must be disinfected at least once a day (preferably 2 times a day).
This measure is part of the new strategy of the Balearic Government of promote outdoor activities as a measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The president of the Balearic Government, Francina armengol has manifested: “The reopening of the playgrounds will coincide with that of the private children's entertainment venues and with permission for the fairground rides installation, which had been announced in recent days, always complying with the established limitations and security measures ”.
For now, November 30, San Juan is the only municipality that has delayed the opening of the playgrounds until you organize the cleaning operation for them.
San Jose, meanwhile, took advantage of the weekend to open a new playground, the first in the municipality counts with un skate park. It is a 500 m2 plot on Avenida de San Agustín with calle Sitges that has a skating rink, skateboarders and rollers with play elements for the little ones.
