Sal Torres, official collaborator of the Salt Route 2025

Sal Torres is once again an official partner of the Salt Route 2025, one of the most iconic regattas in the Mediterranean.

Ibiza and the Mediterranean come together once again in a soulful journey: Sal Torres, the emblematic Ibizan sea salt company, renews its collaboration with The Salt Route 2025, the offshore regatta with the largest participation in Spain. An alliance that not only has a taste of history, but also of identity, sustainability and territory.

The regatta is held from 17 to the 20 of April of 2025, when hundreds of boats will set sail from Port Ginesta (Barcelona) and the Real Club Nautico Denia (Alicante) heading to San Antonio, in Ibiza, in a race that relives the historic journey from the Ibizan salt flats to the Catalan coast.

The link between Sal Torres and this regatta is not accidental: the event pays tribute to a real episode from 1846, when a salt transport was organized from Ibiza to Barcelona, after a blockade that caused a shortage. Today, the Salt Route rescues that maritime and salt legacy with a competitive and festive spirit which turns each edition into an unforgettable experience.

For its part, Sal Torres, with more than half a century of experience, represents the essence of Ibiza. Its artisanal, ecological and respectful production with the environment has consolidated it as a referencia both in homes and in haute cuisine.

Fine salts, spice mixes, grinders and even snacks like sea salt fries o gourmet salted chocolate with crispy corn are part of their extensive catalogue of products with an island soul.

This 2025, your presence in the regatta is also a declaration of intentions: to support local culture, salt tradition and the spirit of the sea. Because if Sal Torres has anything, besides quality, it's that authentic touch that only comes from carrying the island in your DNA.
