Ushuaia Entertainment, a group that brings together venues such as Ushuaïa, Hï Ibiza, Playa Soleil and brands like ANTS, Palmarama or Children of the 80's, has agreed with the local entity caritas ibiza la full settlement of your debt.
The agreement has been carried out in a meeting at the offices of Hï Ibiza with Yann Pissenem, CEO of Ushuaïa Entertainment and Juan Torres, director of Caritas Ibiza. Thus, Ushuaïa Entertainment will allocate a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales of the upcoming Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza events this 2023 season to Caritas Ibiza, in total, will be allocated 200.000 Euros to completely pay off the debt that the organization currently has.
The agreement reflects Ushuaïa Entertainment's commitment to the local community and its willingness to support the well-being of the community and support social projects such as those carried out by Caritas, an entity that helps the most vulnerable families on the island and fights against situations of injustice.
Yann Pissenem, CEO of Ushuaïa Entertainment has stated: “The work that Caritas does for the local community on our island is simply amazing. Upon learning of his situation, we immediately wanted to help to their tireless team, and we hope that our support allows them to focus on continuing with all the inspiring work you do".
For his part, Juan Torres, director of Caritas Ibiza commented: "It is very relevant and significant that Ushuaïa, on its own initiative, has decided to collaborate in capital letters and support Cáritas, thus covering our deficit last year. Economic contributions of this depth allow us face actions to try to change lives and offer second chances, exponentially expanding the possibilities of the people we serve. As director of Cáritas I want to express my gratitude for such generous help and wish Ushuaïa much success in this solidarity journey".
Both organizations have committed to a strong and ongoing relationship, collaborating on future charitable initiatives.
