Ushuaïa Ibiza and the entity Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi have signed an annual renewable sponsorship agreement by which Ushuaïa Ibiza becomes the club main sponsor, currently in the category of Third Balearic Division.
Alfonso Red, first vice-president of the Penya, declared: “We are very happy to receive the support of Ushuaïa Ibiza. Collaborations like these allow clubs like ours to continue growing at a social level and allow their sports structure to be professionalized to guarantee quality teaching at their base.".
For its part, Vicente Mari Ventura, financial director of Palladium Hotel Group has stated: “We wanted to once again support sports clubs on the island, in this case the Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi, so that it continues to grow and can compete on equal terms with the rest of the teams in its category in the competition".
Ushuaïa Ibiza thus renews the commitment it has maintained for years with sport on the island: “We are well aware that these types of initiatives are essential for clubs, players and fans, and with this new support we have strengthened the already existing relationship with Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi”, he commented José Luis Benítez, Director of Institutional Relations of Palladium Hotel Group.
From September 11, 2022, when the team's first League match of the 22/23 season is played, the Penya Esportiva Sant Jordi will have a new kit sponsored by Ushuaïa Ibiza.
