The photographer Vicent Marí presents the exhibition "Terra Natal" that you can visit at the Puget Museum in Dalt Vila, Ibiza, until the end of 2019
“Terra Natal” It is the title of an exhibition of the Ibizan photographer Vicent Marí, the artist's first since 2013, which hosts the Puget Museum de dalt vila, Ibiza.
The sample consists of 22 photographs of fruits and vegetables grown on the island. Images captured through the dark photography technique that evoke the still lifes of the Spanish and Dutch school of the seventeenth century and that constitute a metaphor for Ibiza.
The exhibition is organized by Romy Bernau and Elena Ruiz and coordinated by Antonio Mendez, and has texts from Romy Bernau.
The photographer and graphic editor of Diario de Ibiza Vicent Marí (1972) has published his images in various volumes, such as “Gent de la Marina d'Eivissa”, with texts by José Manuel Piña, or the collection of poems “El gust, l'illa i la carn”, by Toni Cardona. He also signs the images of several books on Ibizan gastronomy.
