Located north of the island, Sant Joan It is the least populated of the Ibizan municipalities and in it you can enjoy nature with more intensity and a rural way of life based on agriculture, preserving traditions, where you can still see how the clowns (many of them dressed in the typical costumes) take care of and till their fields, gather the fruits, sow as if time had not passed by, contrasting with the glamor and modernity that we find in other parts of the island.
Its natural environment is characterized by mountains covered with pine trees and coasts of imposing cliffs, interrupted by some of the most charming coves on the island. In this municipality we find Benirràs, Xarraca cove, It is calo d'en Serra, la cove of Sant Vicent or the familiar beaches of Portinatx y port of San Miguel.
Towards the interior we find It's Amunts, an area of great ecological value, the tower of Balanzat or the cave site of It's Culleram, famous for being where the most important archaeological piece of the island was found: the goddess Tanit.
Four parishes make up this municipality: Sant Joan, Sant Miquel, Sant Vicent and Sant Llorenç. Inhabited by people from all over the world who found their place in the rural environment that breathes in each and every one of these small villages.
