The Can Ventosa cultural center, in the center of Ibiza, offers a wide and varied program throughout the year. Its stage is composed of stalls and amphitheater and has a capacity for some 450 people. It accommodates all kinds of plays, dance performances, concerts or conferences of all kinds.
It is the headquarters of the Municipal Board of Music and the Leisure Club of older people. Also, it houses the Municipal Library of the city.
During the first years of the 20th century it was a textile factory. At the end of 50 the Ministry of Defense used it as a warehouse of the Army and in the years 80 passed to municipal ownership. Finally, 1995 was inaugurated as the cultural and multipurpose center it is now.
Can Ventosa is part of the Spanish Network of Theaters, Auditoriums and Circuits of Public Entitlement, of the Ministry of Culture.

Open Monday to Thursday from 08:00 a.m. to 20:30 p.m., Fridays from 08:00 a.m. to 20:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. Sundays closed.
