El International Festival of Performance Art Territori IbizaDirected by Isa Sanz, arrives at his Fifth edition With a program packed with stimulating proposals and activities for different audiences and formats centered around performance art, transforming Ibiza into an international epicenter of live and performance arts.
Under the slogan "The Victoria"This fifth edition champions art as an act of resistance, shared joy, and a driving force of collective thought. Established as a must-attend event on the island's cultural calendar, Territori reaffirms its commitment to performance as an artistic and political language, with a program that unites international proposals, local talent, training, and critical reflection.
The 2025 edition will be held from 22 of the septiembre 28 of 2025.
International voices with a bodily and political perspective
The artistic poster is headed by figures of great relevance in the contemporary field:
- Lukas Avendaño (Mexico), a performer, choreographer, and anthropologist from the muxe community, will lead a five-day intensive workshop culminating in a public exhibition, sharing creative processes surrounding the body and identity.
- Raeda Saadeh (Palestine) will present a performance created specifically for the festival and share her experience as an artist in a talk that will address the poetic use of the body, personal history, and resilience.
- Tomasz Szrama (Finland/Poland) will present a site-specific work that combines the absurd, the visceral, and the comical in a provocative exploration of vulnerability and the limits of the body.
- Bartholomew Ferrando (Spain), a national benchmark for performance art and visual poetry, will offer both a performance and mentorship for artists from the Balearic Islands, highlighting the festival's commitment to the local scene.
Critical thinking, pedagogy and dialogue
The program is complemented by professional and training activities open to the public:
- Workshop "Thinking about victory”: a session with figures such as Marta Mantecón, Eugenia Tenenbaum, Francisco Brives and Pedro Vidal, moderated by Carles Fabregat, around the aesthetics of triumph and resistance in the performing arts.
- Colloquium Lukas Avendaño x Patricia Soley-Beltrán: an in-depth dialogue on body, memory and dissident practices.
- Conference "Versus Fashion"Of Soley-Beltrán: aimed at students from the IES Blanca Dona and the Escola d'Art d'Eivissa, with the support of the San José City Council.
Balearic and local prominence
Five artists have been selected in the Balearic public call: Jessica Ferrer and Viviana Gaviria (Ibiza), Valeria del Vecchio (Formentera), roser amills (Mallorca) and Paula Araya (Minorca).
Completing the island's creative map, the musician Xico, invited by the festival, will present a sound piece that combines field recordings of the Ibizan landscape with experimental electronics.
The festival will take place in multiple venues on the island, including the I studied Tur Costa (presentation venue), Laterna Study (opening), Micus Space (closure) and several urban and natural enclaves, thanks to the support of the Consell de Ibiza, the town councils of Ibiza and Santa Eulalia, and collaborating entities.

With a respectful eye toward the environment and Ibizan identity, Territori proposes imagining new ways of celebrating, narrating, and resisting through art. Not just a festival, but a cultural and political statement.
