The Social Center of Jesus welcomes on Monday 23 of April 2018 a Professional Meeting with Local Producers of Ibiza for professionals of gastronomy
The Consell de Ibiza in collaboration with the Academy of Gastronomy of Ibiza and Formentera, the town hall of Santa Eulalia and the Pimeef organizes a Professional Meeting with Local Producers which will bring together chefs and gastronomy professionals and producers of the island to value the Ibiza's most emblematic products and rediscover flavors and forgotten products.
The appointment is in the Social Center of Jesus el Monday 23 of April of 2018. The day starts at 10:30 hours with the presentation of the new harvest of Oli d'Eivissa with Ismael Díaz Yubero, 2013 National Gastronomy Award in healthy gastronomy.
A las 10:50 hours the sommelier and winemaker Mares del Barrio will present the new wine harvest IGP Ibiza, and to the 11: 10 hours Sybely Valley, director of the “Repsol Guide to the best foods in Spain”, will give the talk “Gastronomy with roots: the product is at the base”.
Then there will be a showroom or with a meeting between producers and chefs. In addition, several local chefs will explain their relationship with the local product: Pere Tur of Sa Nansa, José Miguel Boned of Es Ventall, Gonzalo Aragüez of Sa Brisa, Matthieu Savariaud from Es Terral, e Íñigo Rodriguez of the Hotel Pacha.
