From Monday 15 to Sunday 21 of October of 2018 Is celebrated the II Femme Festival, Ibiza feminist festival organized by the Equality Directorate of the Consell de Ibiza.
If the first edition last year brought us a weekend of music and concerts in the Parque de Reina Sofía, the one of this one prolongs during a whole week its programming and includes activities of the most varied and interesting in different parts of the city of Ibiza. Those of the weekend however, they take place again in the Reina Sofía Park.
The festival starts on Monday 15 at the bar Can Pou with a concert of Natalie Warren and La Rua. On Tuesday and Wednesday the bookstore Sa Cultural welcomes the presentation of two projects: “Fearless dreams” about breast cancer starring Olga Payró, "Warrior women", about women artists with Raquel Broza. Thursday is presented in Sa Qüestió the documentary “Moonface, a woman in war”, about the well-known photojournalist Christine Spengler. On Friday 19 in the auditorium of the Tourism school the documentary will be screened “Flamenco women” and there will be a concert of Sonikete to 3 Band.
As we already mentioned, the Saturday and Sunday the appointment moves to Reina Sofía Park From the 10: 30 hours until midnight. There you can enjoy talleres, storytellers, circus, artistic creation and live painting, and, above all, a lot of good music.
On the stage they will pass the Mati Fernández Band, Anita Kuruba, the former singer of Canteca de Macao, Vinila von Bismark, and the singer of hip-hop, cumbia and dancehall The Dame Blanche.
A week full of interesting activities to give visibility to the importance of fighting for equality between women and men.
