On the occasion of the celebration of Environment Day in Ibiza, various activities are organized from 3 to 6 in June in the town of Jesus.
El 5 June Is celebrated the World Environment Day, a date that takes on special significance in a place where nature and its conservation are as essential as in Ibiza, that being an island, you must take special care of its fragile territory. This year, between Wednesday 3 of juno and Saturday 6 of June the town of Jesus organize a lot of activities to remind us of the importance of celebrating Environment Day.
El Wednesday 3 from June to 19 hours there is an interesting conference in charge of the Brazilian agronomist Jairo Restrepo, which will explain how to recover the soil fertility in the Cultural Center of Jesus.
El Thursday 4 June at 20 hours, also in the Cultural Center of Jesus, will be projected the documentary "Symphony of the Soil" (VOSE), after which a local product tasting.
The younger ones will enjoy the Friday June 5 of a plan designed especially for them, with the projection of the great "Wall-E" at 19:XNUMX p.m. in the Cultural Center of Jesus and then a children's cooking workshop entitled "Food-Balls".
El Saturday June 6 will be the day to not stop going to Jesus, since from the 18 hours there will be a big flea market in which a lot of local companies related to ecological issues, local product, bioconstruction, renewable energy, local crafts, etc, will participate, which will showcase their products.
There will also be various workshops, you can try motorcycles and electric cars, taste fair trade products for free, see how solar panels work ... At 19 hours there will be a workshop on responsible consumption, at 20 pm a Butoh dance show, at 21 pm rock'n'roll classes with Sunset Swing Club and from the 22 hours, party in the square with the music of Dj Cubanito.
