El Fons Pitius de Cooperació commemorates its 25 years of history with a grand celebration on December 13 Friday 2024 in the auditorium of Cultural Center of Jesus.
The 25th Anniversary celebration event starts at 19 pm and the gala will be presented by Meritxell Martinez.
The event begins with the performance of a microtheater piece entitled 'The common refredat', produced by Applause Back and interpreted by Ania Posada and Marc Morote, with an environmental theme.
Afterwards, there will be a brief retrospective of these 25 years of the Pitiús Cooperation Fund with the participation of pillar coast, who was the first president of the Fons, Joana Tur, from STEI, and Neus Serra, from the Vicente Ferrer Foundation and a film will be screened video reviewing the history of the entity.
On Friday the Cultural Center of Jesus opens the exposure “Migration stories. Ibiza and Formentera, land of departure and arrival”"and during the gala the films will be screened audiovisual of the protagonists of the photographic exhibition, 25 stories each of 1 minute, some told in the first person and others by relatives, but all about forced migrations, which make us reflect on how all of us, at some point in history, are migrants.
The event will also feature music from Mbolo Mooye Doole and a appetizer based on local product offered by ASPANADIF.
