The Can Jeroni room in San José hosts the exhibition "Migracions i Fronteres", with photographs by José Palazón, from February 3 to 19
The uncertain journey towards a better future, the brutal drama of migration is the goal of the Chamber of José Palazón in the exhibition "Migracions i Fronteres", which inaugurates the exhibition hall of Can Jeroni in San José.
A shocking show of 36 photographs that show Migrants from Greece, Melilla, Calais and Sudan and that comes to us thanks to the support of the Fons Pitiús de Cooperació and Fons Menorquí de Cooperació, to remind us that the right to leave one's country is recognized by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and, as fundamental component of human freedom, it must be safeguarded.
The exhibition opens on Friday 3 February at 19: 30 hours and can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday from 18:30 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.. Furthermore, the Thursday February 16 at 19:30 hours there will be an interesting colloquium talk with the photographer José Palazón, who in addition to being the author of the show is co-founder of the association Pro Child Rights PRODEIN.
