The exhibition hall of the Ibiza Nautical Station hosts the exhibitionThe art of posidonia“, organized on the occasion of the celebrations of the 25 Anniversary of the declaration of Ibiza World Heritage Site and to raise awareness about the impressive beauty of the ancient underwater plant.
It is also a call to attention to protect and preserve one of the richest habitats on the planet and this very important plant, responsible for the transparency of our waters and is organized with the Next Generation Funds.
This is a multidisciplinary exhibition organized by Ibiza, Denia and Cambrils and which features artists from all three cities. There are works of David Callaou (Tarragona), Magari Things (Dénia) and, on the part of Ibiza, Elisa Pomar, Enric Majoral, Irene de Andrés, Antonio Villanueva, Júlia Ribas and Elena Martí.
In addition, a collection of underwater images of photographers, scientists and environmental entities from the three cities.
The exhibition is in Ibiza since April 24 to May 31, 2024.
You can visit it Tuesday to Saturday, in uninterrupted hours of 10 to 18 hours, with free entry.
