El International Festival of Performance Art Territori IbizaDirected by Isa Sanz, arrives at his fourth edition with a very powerful program in which, during 12 days, we will be able to enjoy a large number of stimulating proposals and activities for different audiences and formats around performative art.
The 2023 edition will feature 25 participants and 22 activities at numerous points on the island, including performance art– some of them itinerant and participatory-, workshops, conferences, audiovisual sessions, professional day and exhibitions, Among others.
Territori Ibiza 2023 is celebrated from 15 of the septiembre 24 of 2023 in various locations throughout the island and this year under the motto "Root and Vanguard".
En Ibiza city There will be a pre-festival talk, the opening and closing parties and various activities in the Casal de Igualdad, the Sa Nostra Culture Hall, the Cas Serres Auditorium, the Baluarte de Sant Pere, Vara de Rey, the Plaza del Parque and Dalt Vila. In San Jose there will be proposals in the Caló de s'Oli Auditorium, the Ibiza School of Art and various natural spaces. In Santa Eulalia, events are organized at the Teatro España and natural spaces. In San Antonio, in Sa Punta des Molí, and in San Juan in the Plaza de España and the Plaza de la Iglesia. In addition, Territori is also celebrated in cultural spaces Espacio Micus, Hangar 8289 and Estudi Tur Costa.
Some of the national and international artists participating in this 4th edition are Roi Vaara (Finland), who will star in an exhibition, snow leash (Spain), one of the first Spanish performers, Flavio Rodrigues (Portugal), Sarah Trouche (France), Marina Barsy x Isil sol Vile (Puerto Rico-Catalonia), Alice Wonderland (Spain) or John German (Spain). In addition, they participate six balearic artists selected in the Open Call, with creations linked to the Mediterranean Sea: Joanna Hruby (Ibiza), David Novell (Ibiza), dihue miguens (Ibiza), Alejandro Fuster Guillén (Majorca), Kaori Ishihara (Menorca) and Mariana Mazzarino (Formentera).
One of the highlights of the festival will be the presence of Abel azcona, considered one of the best international performance artists, and also that of Exchange Live Art artistic project of Ana Matey and Isabel Leon.
