The Gala of the Astarte Awards of Ibicine 2019 on Saturday 16 of November 2019, with free admission, congregates stars of Spanish cinema
La Astarte Awards Ceremony of the third edition of Ibicine, which has taken place throughout this 2019, is celebrated on November 16 Saturday of 2019.
A great cultural and recreational event that will take place in the Palace of Congresses of Ibiza in Santa Eulalia at 20 hours.
The same day, Saturday 16 of November 2019, but at 17 hours, the Ibicine final at the Teatro España, with screening of the 8 short films selected by the public in each of the semifinals held during 2019. From this vote the winner of the Astarte Public Prize.
The presentation gala of the Astarte de Ibicine Awards will be presented by the actress and presenter Eva Soriano and will yield tribute to 6 women pioneer filmmakers. These women are Ida Lupino (first woman to sit in the "director's chair"), Alice Guy (architect of the first film), Lotte Reiniger (first woman to roll an animation tape), Anne Dudley and Rachel Portman (from the few women who won an Oscar to the Original Soundtrack) and Ordura Nugget (Great Spanish editor responsible for "Welcome, Mister Marshall").
The gala will be preceded by a spectacular Red carpet through which great stars of Spanish cinema will pass. Among many others, faces known as Belinda Washington, José Lamuño, Nico Romero, Nadia de Santiago, Gorka Aguinagalde, Alfonso Bassave, Itziar Castro, Jota Abril, María Zaball, Lara Puebla, Beatriz Jarrín, Juan López Tagle or Fernando Andina.
The event will be animated by numerous performances, such as comedians Keunam and Hermoti, and various actors and actresses will intervene.
They turned themselves in 24 Astarte awards. Among them 19 categories are awarded by the jury of this edition. In addition, the Astarte Public Prize, Honorary Award of the festival, this year for the Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media (CIMA) and the Special Astarte Award to “La Dalia Films”, a production company that has selected one of the festival's shorts to shoot a feature film.
Two special awards are also given, one from the hand of the Spanish Cinema Blog and another from CIMA.
