El Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza (MACE) in Dalt Vila presents “Scoperta del Fuoco“, an exhibition so you can learn about the artist's work Santi Moix (Barcelona, 1960) and which is curated by Elena Ruiz, director of MACE.
It is a installation perimeter of color drawings on the theme of flora made on a material called tyvek that sticks to the wall. The installation is inspired by Ibizan countryside in spring, being an epiphany of nature, hence the title chosen for it by Elena Ruiz, inspired by a famous work by Tintoretto that alludes to the birth of the symbol of life.
In addition, the sample also has 8 large format pencil and charcoal drawings from the series “Menorca“. They are also exhibited author's notebooks and field drawings.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the catalog includes a poem written expressly by Enrique Juncosa.
