Lourdes Crespí presents her marine abstractions with the exhibition “Entre les xarxes i el mar” in Es Polvorí from February 3 to 28, 2018
The Mallorcan painter Lourdes Crespí presents its precious marine abstractions in It is Polvorí, the room that the Balearia Foundation manages in Dalt Vila, with the exhibition "Between the xarxes and the sea".
The hyperrealist painter approaches abstraction in this exhibition in which she uses the fishermen's nets and the seascape as a symbol of the interconnection between human beings. Elements and relationships that, although they wear away with use, can always be reconstructed.
The exhibition is completed with a installation of large hedgehogs also the work of Crespí, with which the author constructs a metaphor about the difficulties that are presented to us to advance in the daily life, thorns that stick in people's life trajectory.
