'Mauthausen, the voice of my grandfather', Inma González, is a play that involves a I sing to life, to the strength of the human being, to solidarity and humor as a literally survival strategy.
González uses the recordings and memories of his grandfather Manuel to reflect on the vicissitudes he experienced both in Spain and during his time in the feared concentration camp that gives the piece its name.
The work has a duration of 60 minutes, is in Spanish and is aimed at an audience from 16 years.
The assembly was candidate for the XXII Max Awards for Performing Arts as best new show and best new author and comes to the island thanks to the Platea Program.
You can see it in Ibiza on Saturday 25 of February of 2023 at 20 hours in the auditorium of Cultural Center of Jesus.
