The photographer Luana Failla and the journalist Alba García present their bookBOSS – Cooking the future”, a compilation of photographs, interviews and recipes from 12 great Spanish cooks, in a very special event held at the iconic Hostal La Torre Of San Antonio.
After almost a decade dedicating himself to food photography, Luana Failla She wondered why she saw so few female chefs in prestigious restaurants, among the chefs awarded or recognized by the gastronomic community... “BOSS – Cooking the future” was born from these concerns and seeks to understand the real situation of women today. in haute cuisine.
The book thus tells in first person the story of 12 cooks, among whom are such outstanding figures as Fina Puigdevall, Carito Lourenço, Maca de Castro, Vicky Sevilla, María Solivellas or Rakel Cernicharo, among other. With an exclusive design of Studio Campostabile, this little gem portrays the work and career of each of these chefs.
Come and learn about this project at a presentation event organized by Ladies, Wine & Design Ibiza, with its founder Maddalena Scarpellini as a presenter. There will be a brief chat in which Luana Failla and Alba García will explain the process of creating this work and where you can ask everything you wish.
