The Sala Sa Nostra presents "Transmutación", an exhibition with installations by Javierens and complementary activities, until April 13, 2018
La Sala Sa Nostra, the cultural space of the Consell in Ibiza city, presents a new exhibition entitled "Transmutation", with works by the visual artist Javierens, winner of the Vuit d'Agost Prize for Painting in 2017.
In the exhibition you can see several installations of this interesting Valencian artist based in Ibiza who has exhibited at the Lighthouse of Ses Coves Blanques in San Antonio and has participated in the Sueños de Libertad festival and in the two editions of the Ibiza Light Festival.
Javierens himself explains that his work is based on change and transformation and that in "Transmutation" he presents several facilities that change and interrelate each other, being able to be perceived differently by each viewer. They are fractal structures that, in their constant change, bring us a little closer to the understanding of chaos. Using materials such as iron, acrylic and colors together with the use of lighting, these works create games of shadows and movements that build a very special atmosphere in which the spectator immerses himself altering his own reality.
Exhibition Thursday 15 of March of 2018 is inaugurated at 20 hours, and will have some interesting parallel activities. The Thursday 22 and 29 of March and 5 of April of 2018 at 17:30 hours the artist will make a live painting for those who attend to visit the show. In addition, to close the exhibition the April 12th 2018 There will be finissage with experimental music concert in charge of Yawa Ze and a performance de Sambawé.
