Sa Nostra Room, in Ibiza city, presents the exhibition "Un Món de Fantasia" ("A fantasy world"), a selection of vintage toys from the collector Felix Martínez Torres.
In the sample we find unique and unrepeatable pieces, XNUMXth and early XNUMXth century toys, mostly Spanish, although there are also some of German, French and English origin. Here you will find toys made of wood, cardboard, tin, porcelain, pasta, celluloid, felt and fabric. Spanish-made toys, French automata and didactics of various nationalities are on display.

Felix Martinez He began in the world of collecting in the eighties at the hands of the antiquarian Mercedes Hernández Santurtún from whom he bought the first pieces of his collection. From that moment he became interested in all antiquity related to the world of childhood of yesteryear. Martinez has managed to collect more than eleven thousand objects, counting houses, dolls, miniatures, games, dresses and accessories; as well as a specialized auxiliary library of more than two thousand volumes.
