Local Food Festival is an appointment created to support the local growers and farmers for the sake of strengthening the local economy, sustainability, self-sufficiency on the island and a healthier and more conscious diet for all.
A whole local food festival, KM 0 and seasonal that is celebrated in different parts of the world and that in Ibiza has its second edition, after the success of the day last summer, back in the precious Boutique Hostel Salinas Ibiza.
The event is organized by the international movement Local Futures headed by Helena Norberg Hodge with the idea of uniting those spearheading community fabric restoration and green economies with a central focus on local food systems.
A whole celebration of the best products of the island that will have stands of different Ibizan producers, the creative ones animations by various artists local and the projection from the latest documentary Helena Norberg-Hodge: “Local Planet. A Quiet Revolution”.
