What a gift we have just made our friends of the Dreams of Freedom Festival!
Statuas d Sal, the mythical Ibizan band that decided to dissolve after more than twenty years of career, has decided participate in the third edition of the event with a single concert.
As they point out in their social networks, it will be only a meeting in which they will review those successes that were hollowed out at different moments of our lives a few years ago. Come on they do not intend to resume their career as a group, but at least they offer us the opportunity to vibrate with their live music for the last time.
It was in 2013 when they said goodbye to their fans on stage and, since then, there have been many fans who have asked for his return.
With this unique performance, the band intends to support a Festival which celebrates next April its third edition with a poster that does not stop adding great stars of the music scene as Sidonie or Iván Ferreiro.
Also, Statuas d Sal intends compensate those who did not have the opportunity to attend the last concert that the band offered at the Ibiza Fairgrounds.
David Serra, Omar Gisbert, Fernando Hormigo, Juanma Redondo and Joan Barbé are the members of Statuas d Sal, undoubtedly the one that was the Ibiza's most successful rock band. They managed to fill each and every one of the concerts they offered throughout their career and released five albums to the market. Statuas even crossed the borders of the island when he obtained the first prize, between more than 2000 participants, I National Contest of Models that organized Sony BMG, Vodafone and Chain 100. En 2013 announced their withdrawal assuring that it was a matter of "a happy ending". "After so many years, it is the ideal moment to separate," said Serra, the vocalist.
