After five years closed, the historic It is Polvorí located in Dalt Vila, a beautiful location that was traditionally a cultural space and exhibition hall, reopens its doors with a commemorative exhibition dedicated to the Ibizan painter Narcís Puget Viñas.
It is Polvorí It was built at the end of the 70th century, as its name indicates, as a gunpowder warehouse, and in the XNUMXs of the last century it became property of the Ibiza City Council, which has organized a multitude of cultural events there.
Now, in the 150º Anniversary of the birth of the painter Narcís Puget, the exhibition “Narcís Puget Viñas (1874-1960)“, curated by Fanny Tur and Andreu Carles López Seguí.
In the sample you can see 34 paintings of the artist and two unpublished drawings in Ibiza, on loan from various private and institutional collections.
The exhibition opens on Saturday 9 of March 2024 at 18 hours with a special performance by the soprano Isabel Albaladejo.
